IRAN AND SYRIA
Question: There has been continuing speculation on whether the Administration_ may
have similar plans for regime change in Iran and Syria. Can you tell us it there is a p
for regime change in those.countries?
Answer:
• As has been stated by the President, we do not have war plans for regime change in
Iran or Syria.
• We will continue our diplomatic relations with these countries as we seek foreign
affairs policies that benefit stability throughout the world.
