DD Form 1172-2 Application

2. All civilians must travel with a valid passport. If there is time, we recommend a passport for military personnel as well.

3. If you are a US government employee or military person, your Common Access Card and your Department of Defense orders will allow you to transit Kuwait without a Kuwaiti visa. If you desire and there is time before your departure, you may obtain one. Contractors and other non-government personnel are not covered by the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) or Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA), and therefore, should have a Kuwaiti visa

Most of these requirements will be addressed at Ft Bliss if you attend the CRC.
